This course satisfies the requirements for renewing your Colorado CHP. It’s a 2-hour course (1 hour classroom, 1 hour live-fire range) that covers all the Federal and Colorado law changes in the past 5 years as well as the CHP required live-fire target test.
At the end of the classroom portion, you’ll need to pass a written exam with at least a 90%.

Then we’ll head over to the on-site pistol range and you’ll show you’ve still got what it takes by passing the live-fire target test. 50 rounds into a human-sized target at 20 feet – you need to hit the target 35 out of 50.
After passing, we’ll share some high-fives and then you’ll be issued the necessary certificate to renew your Colorado CHP.
Important Notice:
Holders of medical marijuana cards or users of marijuana are not eligible to purchase firearms and are therefore not eligible for this course.
